Getting Started

Account registration, organization setup, profile configuration, and KYC verification

Creating your account

Visit organizer.tikxz.com and choose your sign-up method. Both options get you to the same place — pick whichever is more convenient.

MethodHow it worksBest for
Email + OTPEnter email, verify with one-time code, set a passwordInstitutional or organization emails
Google sign-inOne click via Google OAuth — name and email pulled automaticallyPersonal accounts and quick setup
If you're signing up on behalf of an institution, use an email address that belongs to that organization. It makes KYC verification smoother and lends credibility to your public organizer profile.

Setting up your organizer profile

After your first login, you'll be prompted to set up your profile. This is public-facing — delegates see it when they browse your MUN or visit your organizer page. Don't rush through it.

  1. 1

Enter your Display Name — this can be your personal name or your organization name. It appears on all your MUN listings.

  2. 2

Choose your Organization Type: Individual, College Society, School, NGO, or Company. This affects KYC document requirements.

  3. 3

Write a short Bio — 2 to 4 sentences. Who are you, what do you organize, what's your track record? Delegates read this.

  4. 4

Upload your Profile Logo: exactly 500×500px, square crop, PNG or JPG, max 2MB. It appears in circular form on MUN cards and your profile.

  5. 5

Upload your Banner: 1920×1080px (16:9 widescreen), PNG or JPG, max 5MB. Shown at the top of your organizer profile page.

  6. 6

Add optional links — website, Instagram, LinkedIn. These build trust with prospective delegates.

Your banner needs to be 1920×1080. Your cousin's Canva export at 800×600 will look like a potato. Export at the correct resolution — Canva, Figma, and Adobe Express all support custom dimensions.

Organization types

The organization type you select affects what KYC documents are required and how payouts are handled. Pick the one that most accurately describes your setup.

KYC verification

KYC is mandatory before you can receive online payments from delegates. You can still create MUNs and open registrations without it — but online payment will fail for delegates until KYC clears. Plan ahead.

Yes, you need to complete KYC before taking money. No, "I'll do it later" is not how this works. If delegates try to pay online while your KYC is pending, they'll hit an error and likely drop off. Submit KYC at least 3–4 days before registration opens.

Documents you'll need:

  • Aadhaar card (front and back) — identity verification for the primary organizer.
  • PAN card — required for tax compliance whenever registration fees are collected.
  • Organization proof — college letterhead, society registration certificate, GST certificate, or incorporation document depending on your org type.
  • Bank account details — account number and IFSC for payouts. Must match the name on the KYC documents.

To submit: navigate to Dashboard → Profile → KYC and follow the step-by-step form.

Standard approval takes 24–48 hours on business days. Weekend submissions may not be reviewed until Monday. Submit well in advance — rejections due to blurry or incomplete documents restart the clock.

Common rejection reasons:

  • Blurry or partially cut-off document photos
  • Expired Aadhaar or PAN
  • Bank account name doesn't match the organizer or organization name on other documents
  • Organization proof document is informal (e.g., a WhatsApp screenshot of a letter) — use official letterheads

Cash Drive mode lets delegates register without paying online — you collect payment manually (cash, UPI, bank transfer) and mark them paid in the dashboard. It's a solid fallback if you're running a local MUN and don't need online payments.

First login walkthrough

Once profile setup is complete, you land on the Organizer Dashboard. Here's what you're looking at:

  • My MUNs: All MUN events you've created. This is your home base. Click any MUN to enter its management context.
  • Profile: Update your bio, logo, banner, social links, and KYC at any time from here.
  • Notifications: System alerts, KYC status updates, and payment notifications land here.
  • Help: You're here. Bookmark it — the pages covering committees, registrations, and scanner are worth reading before your first event.

Once you click into a specific MUN from My MUNs, the sidebar updates to show that MUN's sections: Overview, Committees, Registrations, Executive Board, Team, Scanner, Coupons, Form Builder, Analytics, and Settings. Everything MUN-specific lives in that context.

Your next step after account setup is creating your first MUN. Head to the Creating a MUN guide linked below — pay particular attention to the slug field. It's permanent once you go live.
